Sea Isle City Hurricane Sandy Update November 2, 2012

SEA ISLE CITY -- If anyone would have told us two weeks ago that we would be cleaning up after a major storm like this we would have thought they were crazy. For the last day and a half we have been cleaning up around our building on 60th Street and Landis Avenue and put all of our computers and equipment back in the proper places so we can get back to the task at hand.
Many of our property owner clients have been calling us to see what is really going on down in Sea Isle City and I wish we could tell them all that there is no damage, but some properties have had damage and many will need contractors to do minor work such as sidiing repairs, powerwashing, painting and the like. Let us know what sevices you might need and we can recommend the right people.
Most of our agents are back in the office doing their thing as well. Can you believe how many rental questions and booking requests we got this week? I guess the combination of watching the storm on TV and sitting at home by the computer was the perfect storm. Yes we can get those places and we will check to see that it is still standing.
This weekend we will be open both Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 4pm to handle all of your real estate needs.
Finally, I want to express the obvious that the Sea Isle City government and city employees have done a awesome job in keeping us safe and informed. Thank you Mayor Desidario !

SEA ISLE CITY -- As of Oct. 31 at 1 p.m. the city will allow homeowners, residents, and business owners into town so they can inspect, repair, and clean-up their properties. Officials ask that all owners inform the police department should they smell gas, see any electrical problems, or notice any other serious issue that would pose a threat to safety.
Access to the island is for the security of individual properties and businesses only.
There is to be absolutely no sightseeing within Sea Isle City as police will be strictly enforcing the law with regards to this point. As of this announcement, the State of Emergency is still in effect, and clean-up, road, and utility repairs are still ongoing throughout the barrier islands.
Thank you in advance to your cooperation and understanding of our position. It is in all our best interests that we follow these procedures and restore the town as quickly and safely as possible.
Thank you.
