Sea Isle City, NJ Welcome Center Addition to the Community Lodge to open soon.
The contractor, R. Wilkinson and Sons, has completed the main lower roof on the Lodge and Welcome Center addition, and installation of the metal roof of the main entry started this week. The majority of the interior construction has been completed, and the contractor is working to finalize the interior in order to prepare the building for move-in. Landscaping has been installed and completion of the curved entry facade has been substantially completed, with completion of the entry ceiling and lighting along with other exterior finish work and signage expected to take place next week. The opening of the Welcome Center is now anticipated to take place within the next two weeks. The Community Lodge remains open and all activities will continue as planned. The project is the culmination of several years of public discussion about the need for a Welcome Center, as well as the need for continued utilization of the current lodge facility.
